On Mar. 15, 2010, Secretary General WANG Hongsong participated in a special seminar on arbitration in China in Milan and delivered a keynote speech on the invitation by Lombardi Molinari e Associati, an Italian law firm famous for its expertise in the litigation and arbitration business.
In her speech, Secretary General WANG Hongsong not only introduced in details the development of BAC’s arbitration business, but also emphasized that BAC, in order to meet the demand of relevant parties both at home and abroad for diversified dispute resolution mechanisms, is gradually transforming into a “multi-door” international dispute resolution center since 2008 through providing such services as the independent mediation and the dispute review in construction engineering projects.
Gabriele Crespi Reghizzi, BAC’s Italian Arbitrator and Professor of Comparative Law & International Business Law in University of Pavia, presided over the seminar; Stefano Azzali, Secretary General of the Chamber of National and International Arbitration of Milan, and Lotario Dittrich, Professor of University of Trieste specialized in the research on civil litigation and arbitration, acted as commentators. In his comments, Mr. Stefano Azzali said that BAC is “full of vigor” and “able to play a bigger role in the international arbitration circles.”
