In the morning of November 2, 2010, ZHOU Ning, Head of the Department of Law and Regulation of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and Taiwan arbitrator delegation visited BAC. The Taiwan arbitrator delegation is led by Li Nianzu, Council Chairman of The Arbitration Association of the Republic of China (CHINESE ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION, TAIPEI), and consists of 13 members, including Prof. LI Fu-dian from Law Department of Chinese Culture University; Prof. LAI Laikun from Law School of Hsuan Chuang University; LI Jiaqing, Council Chairman of Taipei Bar Association; LI Lingling, Council Chairwoman of Kaohsiung Bar Association; WANG Bojian, Manager of CTCI Corporation, as well as other senior lawyers and arbitrators from Taiwan.

Secretary General WANG Hongsong, on behalf of BAC, expressed warm welcome to the leaders of the Department of Law and Regulation of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the Taiwan delegation. She presented a brief introduction of the development of BAC, as well as the cooperation and communication concerning dispute resolution across Taiwan Strait, and expressed BAC’s hope to cooperate with arbitrators and arbitration agencies from Taiwan. The two sides had a discussion on the possible cooperation. After that, the delegation paid a visit to BAC’s Case Acceptance Room, Arbitration Hall, International Conference Room, Computer query and simultaneous interpretation system. The delegation said that they were deeply impressed by BAC’s quick development and its modern office facilities, and that they would like to strengthen the communication and cooperation with BAC. At noon, Secretary General WANG Hongsong entertained the delegation on behalf of BAC.
