The delegation of Taipei Bar Association (TBA) which comprised twelve members of the TBA visited the BAC in December 2nd, 2010. Mr. C.C.Lee, the president of the TBA, was the leader of this delegation, and Mr. Chih-Poung Liou, the managing director of the TBA, was the deputy leader of the delegation.

Secretary General Wang Hongsong greeted the delegation and had an informal session with the delegation afterwards. Other two staffs of the BAC also attended in the session. Madam Wang introduced the recent developments of the BAC, the engagement and management of the arbitrators, the frequent training programs and evaluation systems applied to the arbitrators, and other effective managing ideas and operations of the BAC. She also mentioned the collaboration with the Beijing Bar Association and historical cooperation with Taiwan’s legal community. The delegation praised the BAC’s accomplishments in the past and the strategies of the future development. Meanwhile, members of the delegations discussed issues on future collaboration on arbitration training and mediation training projects with Madam Wang, and queried the availability of using the BAC’s video techniques to share the experiences and information. The delegation has also given their suggestions on the BAC’s engagement of Taiwan arbitrators. President C.C.Lee then bestowed gift to the BAC on behalf of the TBA; then, Madam Wang showed the delegation around the BAC’s facilities.

Besides the leader and deputy-leader, the delegation also included the former president of the TBA, James C.C.Ku, the managing director of the TBA, Ju Fang Zhang, the executive supervisor of the TBA, Yuan-Lung Lien, the partner of the Formosa Transnational, Hsiaoling Fan, the partner of the TSAR & TSAL Law Firm, Joyce I. Ho, the partner of the Formosan Brothers, Helena Chen, the partner of Lee and Li law firm, Angela Y. Lin, the partner of the HSC law firm, Yi Fan He, and attorneys of Lexcel Partners, Mike Lu and Shih-Jung Lee.
