Lawyers of Baker Botts Visit BAC

On June 23, 2011, Mr. Michael Goldberg and Mr. Jeff Layman visited BAC. Mr. Goldberg is a lawyer of Baker Botts, a law firm headquartered in America and director of international dispute settlement department of the Baker Botts, and Mr. Layman is a partner for Beijing Office of Baker Botts. Secretary General Mrs. Wang Hongsong met the guests. First of all, Mr. Chen Cong, director of division two of BAC office made an introduction to the visiting guests with regard to arbitration development in China and characteristics of BAC. Following the introduction, Secretary General Mr. Wang Hongsong focused her topics on BAC’s achievement in practice of multiple dispute settlement and the internationally recognized practice adopted by BAC in international arbitration. With a memorable impression of BAC, the two lawyers considered BAC an international arbitration body with modern management concept; they believe there is great future for BAC in international arbitration. The two guests also expressed expectation for more cooperation with BAC.

All disputes arising from or in connection with this contract shall be submitted to Beijing Arbitration Commission / Beijing International Arbitration Center for arbitration in accordance with its rules of arbitration. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties.
