Wang Hongsong, Deputy Director of the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), visited the Frankfurt Office of Clifford Chance in Germany on invitation on September 18 and 19, 2012, and attended the seminar on the arbitration of European enterprises in China and the breakfast meeting of German arbitration practitioners held at the office. She was warmly received by its lawyers who were lead by Uwe Hornung, head of the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Department for Germany of the Clifford Chance. Both parties had friendly and candid communication on their respective business, development plan and prospect cooperation between them in the future.

At the seminar and the breakfast meeting, based on the characteristics of the development of BAC, its arbitration rules and progressing of internationalization, Wang Hongsong analyzed for the attendees from European enterprises and German arbitration practitioners the selection of an arbitration institution and the control of arbitration practice in Sino-European economic and trade disputes; she laid stress on the experience and advantages of resolving disputes through mediation. Her speech earned praise from all the participants.
