Beijing Arbitration Commission

On February 27, 2013, Keith M Brands, the chief representative and executive associate from SNR DENTON Beijing Office, came to visit Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC). Our secretary-general Lin Zhiwei, the section chief Chen Fuyong and the secretary Zhang Ran welcomed our valuable guests wholeheartedly.

The secretary-general Lin Zhiwei, on behalf of BAC, extended the warm welcome to Keith M Brands who expressed his gratitude for warm welcome and made the brief introduction on the development of dispute settlement of SNR DENTON. Mr. Lin Zhiwei and Mr. Chen Fuyong simply introduced the cases, amount in dispute, international cases, arbitration rules and organization establishment of BAC in recent years. Both sides had made deep communications on civil nature and independence of arbitration organization, features of cases accepted and organization development target, etc.

After communication, both sides visited the modern office facilities such as arbitration hall, case filling hall and library, etc. Keith M Brands expressed appreciation for BAC’s industrious efforts and successful experience in maintaining the independence, improving the professionalism and internationalization of arbitration, was deeply impressed by the highly efficient arbitration proceedings and advanced hardware facilities of BAC and expected to strengthen the cooperation and communication with BAC in the following days.
