On April 26, 2013, teachers and students from the Law School of Renmin University of China and l’Université d’Aix-Marseille Faculté de droit visited BAC.
The staff members of BAC arranged special lectures for the visiting teachers and students, enabling the students to learn more deeply and comprehensively about arbitration by comparing arbitration with other dispute resolution means in international commercial disputes and by highlighting the attributes of arbitration. Then BAC’s staff members introduced the history, current condition and development of BAC, the development status of arbitration in China, and the common problems of the arbitration practice in China. The visiting teachers and students listened to the lectures carefully and actively raised questions about BAC and arbitration in China. They appreciated the independence, profession and high efficiency of BAC and were deeply impressed by the international development and alternative dispute resolution modes of BAC. The students indicated that they learned more about arbitration and were more interested in ADR in China through the visit.
