On July 16, 2013, a delegation led by Madam WANG Kun, Principal of ILI China Representative Office, came to visit BAC. Deputy Secretary-General CHEN Fuyong and Secretary WANG Zhishuo of BAC warmly welcomed the guests.
Deputy Secretary-General CHEN Fuyong extended a warm welcome to Madam WANG Kun and her party. Madam WANG Kun expressed gratitude for BAC’s warm reception and gave a presentation about International Law Institute’s (ILI) historical origin, overseas institution setting,and business conditions in China. Afterwards Deputy Secretary-General CHEN Fuyong introduced BAC’s business features, institution building, and latest developments. After the presentations, the two sides had an extensive conversation on such issues as current domestic legal environment, training of international legal personnel, and a future cooperation model.
After the conversation, the guests visited the arbitration hall, case acceptance hall, international conference hall, and other modern office facilities of BAC. Madam WANG Kun expressed her appreciation for BAC’s persistent efforts and continued success in maintaining institutional independence and promoting the professionalization and internationalization of arbitration. Madam Wang Kun also expressed her hope for further cooperation and communication with BAC in the future. BAC visited ILI’s office in USA on invitation last year.
