The IBA Asia Pacific Arbitration Group (APAG) will organize a programme entitled “APAG Training Day - Best Practices in International Arbitration” that will take place at the Japan Federation of Bar Associations Creo Auditorium, Tokyo, Japan on 12 September 2014.
This programme is designed to give practitioners in the Asia Pacific region in particular an introduction into the best practices in the field of international arbitration by drawing reference to a number of Rules and Guidelines introduced by the International Bar Association which are widely used by arbitrators and practitioners across the world. The aim of the programme is also to secure feedback from delegates as to what improvements or reforms are needed, if any, to the existing Rules and Guidelines to better improve the practice of international arbitration in the Asia Pacific Region as part of the work of the newly created IBA Asia Pacific Arbitration Group.
As one of the primary international arbitration institution in the Asia-Pacific region, Beijing Arbitration Commission has a strong tie with the IBA and always supports the relevant arbitration practice in the region.
